Questions I received about man’s relationship with the Creator:

Question: If the Creator created the universe, how can man become equal to Him? Isn’t this a delusion of grandeur?

My Answer: The Creator created Evil from Goodness, and man corrects Evil to make it Goodness. He does this by means of his desire, with help from the Creator.

Question: In Kabbalah, what does it mean to worship the Creator?

Two questions I received on work in the group:

Question: You said we should feel inspired by the group even when we know that this inspiration is fake. Could you please clarify?

My Answer: Because a person is a created being, his essence is the general will to receive pleasure. One’s environment tells him what he should be feeling pleasure from, and the environment transmits this influence onto a person through education and advertisement. These create a value system inside the person.

Questions I received regarding finding our importance, interest in life outside Kabbalah, and freedom choice:

Question: I only want to ask that, in my search for meaning, it seems as though everything leads to the Kabbalah wisdom. I know there is something I must do, and I do not know what it is. How can the wisdom of Kabbalah help me to discover what my importance is?

A question I received: How can you explain the meaning of freedom to a person born into slavery and sitting in a cell? How does it feel to be free?

My Answer: You can feel freedom only when that you want to bestow, and you are given that opportunity. If someone doesn’t let you bestow, it means that he robs you of freedom and oppresses you.
Lack of freedom doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything you want.

A question I received: You always say that man is not free and obeys his genes, instincts, and influence of society. At the age of 20 he is fully formed, like a freshly minted coin, and all his actions are predefined in advance. So is it possible to be a free man, and what does it mean – to be free?

My Answer: To be free means to feel that you are 100% dependent from the Creator, but “of your own free will,” meaning that it is your decision to be so.

A question I received: When a person crosses the Machsom, where does he sense this attainment?

My Answer: Everything is sensed internally. It is similar to how you sense yourself and this world today. You always feel either suffering or pleasure within. This is also how you will sense spirituality.

The method is very simple. You will learn what pleasure and suffering are, how you currently sense them, and how you can begin to interact with them, enjoy them and gain control over them.

A question I received: Many phenomena in the world change from one extreme to another: from light to dark, cold to hot, life to death, minus to plus, motion to rest, and so on. Isn’t there another method of spiritual development besides including all the opposites in ourselves?

My answer: The Creator is the feeling of one quality: bestowal, love. However, since we are the created beings, we can only feel something on the background of something else, or in comparison with it.

A question I received: Sometimes in life there are those rare moments when you feel that everything around you is permeated by a special force, enveloping you with kindness and filling the whole world with love. This sensation is the most intense pleasure you have ever felt. And you know there’s a line of people extending across the whole world waiting to feel this pleasurable sensation.

A question I received: The universal equality that you talk about is a little scary. If everyone is the same, then where is my uniqueness?

My Answer: Your uniqueness lies in the fact that everyone is incorporated inside you and you desire to bestow to everyone. You are the only one who can give them what you have to give.
